Alcohol Induced Comfort

Alcohol Induced Comfort

A Poem by Amber S. Hays

I see pictures of when the colors were once in our eyes linking (separately) to the light in the sky.

At which was once the worst time in both of our lives.

Back to the beginning of black tar heroin and sexual tension, I was flying in circles, and did I mention?

I conquered the worst of my fears to give you what your dick said you wanted and what my feelings

said I wanted, but now I realize that a dick is all you’ll ever be, undoubtedly.

I still have my fears, and you still have your dick. I’d say I hate you, but regret isn’t a one night stand.

And you left with an orgasm, and ground to land.
