Blinded BY Beauty !

Blinded BY Beauty !

A Poem by Ambereen
"

Beauty Of Colors cannot be seen by all.

"

He saw her by the stream

Unaccompanied she sat

Tossing small rocks in the river bed

While the wind softly blew

Her tresses over her face now and then flew

Radiant and glowing was her skin

Her lips luscious pink

The smile on the face brightened the day

Her eyes were luminous blue

Love at first sight it was for the artist

A beauty on the canvas he must put

Several strokes and sometime later

The innocence and beauty on paper he had captured

With his best work he headed straight to her

"Young lady ,you are the most attractive women I met

This portrait of yours you shall adore I bet"

Tears rolled down her beautiful eyes hesitantly she said

"Sorry sir  the world around me is but colorless.

I am afraid  I am vision less."

Every one around is not as lucky to see the deep blue sky , the sun set and sunrises , the butterfly fly , the green lush trees . Those of us who can afford these beautiful sights are indeed fortunate . THANK YOU LORD !

I liked it..
Many people who have all the senses don't appreciate it, but people with some disabilities are more powerful sometimes :)

The poem was very lovely Amber.
You tugged my heart back to the days of woeking at a camp for the blind. These happy souls could see more of the beauty in life than most people I have know in my life time. They may not "see" what we do, but they do understand more usually, and they always "show" the sighted their own blindness in the most kind and tender rainbows of human love.
Thank you for bringing my mind back to these truely beautiful poeple!

beautiful poem! very artistic. Though they can't afford to see beautiful sights they have the ability to see the world beautifully in a different way.

Such an inspiring figure she is!
...well done my friend, superbly crafted...for not all see Gods beauty in this world even if they have sight...like the woman they are blind. Thank you Jesus that we have been given eyes to see your beauty in this world....Amen.
