black and blue

This poem is about my husband putting me down and making me feel like i'm black and blue. It hurts more and more each day when he tells me i'm dumb. He even calls me other names and i rather not say.

I'm so black and blue. I feel so numb. How he puts me down it's like a spell. My heart is closing and turning black. O how he treats me i feel like that. He makes me feel worthless like trash. His words makes me feel so black and blue just like a bruise. Black and blue those are  my favorite colors now. O how his words hurt me day by day.  So much hurt and and so much pain. Maybe it's something i said or something i do. I just don't have the love i use to have. I have no feelings nothing but air. My heart is not red it's black and blue just like a bruise. He keeps on beating me on the inside until I die. Until then I won't say goodbye.

Please don't judge me on how i am feeling. This is the way i deal with my pain other then other things i do(not saying).

I don't know how old you are, but you look pretty young. You may have married too soon, I don't know, but if you're not happy then getting out of your marriage may be the right move. Harming yourself in any way is never the right thing to do. But I won't judge you. I can only wish the best for you. You deserve it.

I'm 21 and been married for a year in a half. I been with him for four years. Ever sense we got married he been acting this way.

He's 24 almost 25. But cheating and lying is never the answer. We also have a baby together. Sorry but all the poems I have is straight from my heart and soul.

Yes only one. My daughter Myra she's 15 months.

Well, I'll say no more about it but if I were to guess, I'd say your husband sounds young, stressed out, and trapped by his own bad decisions. I'm guessing your daughter--as beautiful as she is--wasn't planned?

No she wasn't planned... I told him he can leave... I'm stress out too but I don't beat or say mean things to him

Yes I'm a good person I cook clean take care of my daughter go to college. When he comes home from work I give him a massage.
