Hostile ActA Poem by Amber Dawn AginYou can pretend you're angry, but you're not fooling anyone. I know how scared you are.
Why are you lying to yourself?
you can raise your voice scream until your throat is raw dip your every word in venom but you can't stop your voice from shaking you can't stop those tears from building go ahead and be angry, be hostile but I see through your act I know how scared you really are you push everyone away yelling the words "leave me alone" until you loose your voice because they were gonna leave anyway you're scared everyone will leave you so you leave them first you're scared everyone will hurt you so you hurt them first you're scared loving someone will kill you so you try to kill yourself first you've been conditioned to think that everyone will give up on you that's why you always give up on yourself you'd rather destroy yourself and everyone around you on your own terms but its not because you're angry Why can't you admit how scared and broken you are? © 2016 Amber Dawn AginAuthor's Note
