Love is...

 

Love is no longer an emotion, but a word

It's not felt within the heart anymore

Love is now expressed a dozen roses and a card, seldom is it heard

Love is no longer an emotion, but a word

The way people show their love now is absurd

Love has been locked behind the golden hallmark door

Love is no longer an emotion, but a word

I must say that usally when I review someone I have more bad things to say then good. And usally I have really good advice. But with this poem, I honestly don't know anything bad to say. It's well written. I has a nice flow but sounds a little bit forced. just write.

Very nice. I like the idea behind this one that no one actually feels love, they just say they do. It's some happy new trend that everyone likes to be a part of no matter how old they are. Thank you for sharing this.

Aww, once again your words flow together flawlessly. Even if the subject is one not all might agree on but it is one I understand. You do see a lot of people misusing that powerful phrase. Once again great work and beautiful poem.
