The Adorn Broken Heart

A poem of lost love that left bitter yet cherished memories.

An heart thats broken is a wretched thought...a memory that forever torments the mind of the unfortunate damaged soul. A constant reminder of the pain once endured.

Yet foolishly and oddly enough it was a profound and captivating experience that remains truly cherished. Strange that something so heartbreaking....is also so beautiful and dear to my heart.

The disconsolable anguish and bitter animosity that flowed throughout my heart and soul...was provoked and raged within when you let me go.

Yet I could still see your face and remarkably smile with warmth in my heart for your exquisite beauty was truly adorn. The brilliant radiance of your carefree nature always shined brightly....for all did admire.

Her fascinating charisma was something many enjoyed. The girl that once smiled cheerfully each time she greeted me...the girl I gave myself to completely.

Still beloved the memory I have...unfortunate for the turn at hand. For that warm smile was perhaps all but too wicked.

I found myself in awe for it was truly beguiling. My heart did shatter when I was to find that you were really a selfish and deceitful woman...who cared solely for your needs to be pacified.

I quickly found that a love I thought was pure and true...was decayed and tainted with the likes of you.

I really like the first half of this prose. It had purpose, meaning and direction. The second half kind of meandered around and seemed to lose structure. I like the concept. It just seemed to go from third person to first person in presentation.
