Hate Me

Written in middle school when I faced some really bad bullying.

Hate me for who I am,

I promise you I do what I can,

I'll never be what you want,

you should've known that from the start,

I have in me an unbreakable heart,

your words still cut but they won't scar,

your looks will hurt but they won't mar,

In me there is power unknown,

I know you'll miss me when I'm grown.
