The Waiting Room

The Waiting Room

A Poem by amateur
"

Gone To Soon

"
Why am I here?
I don't belong
How did I get here
I do not know

The beauty that surrounds me
I have never seen before
There is music drawing near
calling out my name
but I must go
I don't belong

 I am young
and should not be alone
My Parents will be worried
My brother will want to play
I must get back, I don't belong

My dear Child
Welcome home
My name is Gabriel
I'll be your guide
The choir sings your name
To welcome you inside

Gabriel, I'm only a child
My family will be looking for me
My friends will want to play
Please take me back I don't belong

Fear not, they know you're here
They ask us to mind you
Show you great care
though you're not with them
You're never far away

The music is beautiful
My pain is gone
I am ready now
Please Gabriel
Lead me home.

I would like to test drive an NDE one day, as long as the ticket is a round trip one.
