a "good" girl's perspective of a w***e

The good girl is always second best to the w***e.

The good girl always gets sloppy seconds,

While the w***e is everyone else’s first choice.

She’s easy so they like her,

The good girl is guarded and truthful,

And no one likes that,

Boys want something quick and easy.

 

The good girl is only still good because she’s not easy,

She has boundaries,

And no one likes boundaries.

The good girl is only still good because she has a personality,

She knows who she is and isn’t willing to change for anybody.

 

The w***e is a gossip,

She’s rude and judgmental,

She thinks she is better than everyone else,

Yet she’s still the one who always gets the guy.

She’s fake and drinks too much,

Because she thinks that’s the best way to get a guy’s attention.

The w***e used to be the good girl’s friend,

Oh how the times have changed.

The w***e dropped the good girl in a heartbeat.

 

The good girl hates s**t shaming,

But the w***e has proven that she likes the reputation.

The good girl can easily talk s**t about her old friend,

Because the w***e would always choose boys over her friends.

 

The w****s always get what they want,

Because all anyone seems the as is an object,

And the w****s willingly embrace this.

The good girl feels bad for the w***e,

Because in the end she is hurting herself the most,

And if she doesn’t realize it now,

She will soon.

But the real question is,

Am I really the “good” girl if I’m saying all of these things?

You have pulchritudinously described the appalling truth. Some people surely ingrain derogatory attitude and lure into wrong things while their loved ones are anxious about them while they are oblivious about this fact. You have beautifully depicted the transition of a girl in adolescence while the unchanged conduct of the other.

How ironically true your poem and statements are Amaya. About the definitions of a "good girl" and a "bad girl". A good girl is also someone who has had love and being cared for from a good family. And been taught good ways. A bad girl is also someone who has never been shown good love and been cared for at all. As, they rebel to get attention any attention is better than none as that is like you never existed at all. And the good girl was always noticed and looked after proper. So never need to rebel and act up.
