Winter Coat

Winter Coat

A Poem by Sydney

A warm embrace amidst a frozen wasteland.

Style in snow. Fashion in frost.

Ivory among ice.

You gaze out at the misty Ligurian Alps. But everyone's too busy gazing at you.

Protected from the kiss of cold in your winter coat, you put on your sunglasses and head down the rocky mountainside. The hiking group follows behind you, subjects worshiping their queen.
