Strange enough it is that,
You look, and look I (and at us, your cat)
Neither of us talking,
With soft gaze, just walking,
Nothing being heard, no noise,
I see no gals, you see no boys,
Hearts just breathing away,
Hands beside each other, and minds kept at bay,
Not touching, separation too, denying
Walking beside, with smiles, just fine, 
Hoping to end it, yet not to stop, 
Hearts full, yet love wants to shop,
I look at you and you at me,
Slowly I utter a word, but then could not say, 
Hearts are speaking, and silent I stay,

Bursting with emotion. That's how I'd describe your poem. And very true observation, sometimes no words are necessary, no touch, simply the love that seems to reach from one heart to the other and bathes both in a warm light no words could compare to.

oh, i am so familiar with these moments! how many times have you just wanted to grab their hand and take it in yours or to pull them gently to you and engage in a smouldering, tender, soul searing kiss? this is a bit "wobbly" in parts but it is a delightful foray into the nuances of romantic shyness and restraint. well done!
