Life with a FreakA Poem by lovelymarina
I heard they just got off third and vine.
She stepped out adroitly, with elegance and grace through sorrow, and knew what was to come, was not of plush nature. Before he slammed the door of that blue chevrolet and they walked away, before everyone got a little taste of her, before the outside peered in through binoculars, he admired the radiant sunlight on her poised virgin flesh. His eyes indulged into the celestial beauty that captivated the rest of them... before it did. Admiring every defect that lived on the surface
never within, never deeper. Filled with the pleasure of losing himself in those radiant green eyes… oh those eyes… Time to be social… Don’t let the eyes wander. She was to be noticed, how couldnt she be? If only he was blind to all but her. And so the rage began. He picked at his skin and bit his own lips til they bled- cried for god but no one to hold his hand no one to sit on his shoulder
and yell at him for his harm, no one to stop the intrusive traffic
that sat at every red light in his mind. Just her, to sit with her hands in her head,
yet again, dealing with the consequences.. of his never ending psychosis. And back to the car they go, put up the volume on the radio darling, it’ll be over soon.
