The hit and run days of my youth. If I could return to them. I would of stayed longer, drank coffee with them and maybe a friend dear Marina?
"The morning came with demise-
soon you'd be out on your own,
looking for another quick fix.
This wasn't permanent,
we weren't permanent,
and that's the beauty of life."
I understand the above lines. Body always want more. Heart can die. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

You are welcome dear Marina. I always enjoy your work.
Some people don't want permanent but they do have needs. I tried putting myself in her shoes the morning after, but it was too painful. You don't always get what you want was ringing in my head. Always liked the Stones. Sex without love has never been my thing. If you still think life is beautiful after that, you are made of far more resilient stuff than me. The sex must have been great.

we must find the beauty in impermanence to be able to keep going... while sad, and dreadful at times, there's something beautiful about mere "moments". Sometimes, we shall try to overlook the pain and find the glamour in times like these.
Thank you for the lovely review, Chris.
Love always,

However fleeting we have to find those beautiful moments, yes I understand that Marina.

May you find many beautiful moments in the days ahead.
This feels like a fuk'n them and
leave 'em type of guy while you
might think they're the greatest
and the all night passionate play
was to die for .they leave in
the morning not giving a second
thought to what you may feel
I do like the ending
maybe just maybe it is
the beauty of life..
Yes… I think a lot of us want what we know we can’t have … thanks for the review fran.

Luringly interesting title and artwork … easily drew me in.
Finally, my first review of your writing, though, I’ve read everything you’ve posted.
Why this one over the others(?) … because it hits a part of my core essence dead center, in so many intrinsically familiar and relatable aspects that I’m, quite honestly, swept-up with you into its every moment. One might say, “mesmerized.”
I may not have been able to write this soul-moving piece with the rich articulation, creative metaphorical imagery, vivid word paintings, emotional depth, or verisimilitude your inherent skills allow, but it’s definitely about a tangible part of me only a rare few outside my skin know … makes me wonder how many others identify with it so exactingly?
Ah-well, Marina, enough about me.
Mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, there’s very little I can offer to improve on this amazingly rendered piece, it’s so thoroughly realistic and impacting.
Technically, there are a number of issues that could be addressed to make it read/flow smoother, have a bit less ambiguity in places, needed punctuation to guide the reader, formatting, etc; not really all that much, but this review is already so extensive, I’ll offer your critique on messaging.
Thank you, Dear Lady-Poet, for a genuinely enjoyed moment spent immersed in your wonderfully artistic, captivating moments shared … I'm proud to be your fan!
Let me leave you with this thought, “In my frank discernment, your intelligence and authentic potential virtually glistens off every phrase.” ⁓ Richard 🍃

I am deeply honored to be critiqued by someone as wise and intelligent as you. I’m glad you captured the feel I was going for. The most important thing for me is to make the reader drown in nostalgia when reading a piece like this. I’m grateful that you love it… and excited to improve through your wondrous teachings. Again, thank you for taking the time to believe in my work.

Thank you, Marina,
Your response has made it a joy.
I'll see you in a message, soon.
the beauty of life is how we find different ways to kill ourselves...and one of those is passion suicide...
give our heart away to the slaughter, and that person just goes out and finds another one to strangle.
Geez, hot and heavy, huh? :) It sounds like a place we'd all like to be. To drown in it and be happy submerging. It's the lonely parts when it's over that tear at the soul. Those vally's that sink like a stone that kill us.
