Whenever i look into your eyes

I see the innocence i have lost

Every time i see you smile

i see the smile i used to wear

that is now covered by a frown

Whenever i touch your fingers 

i see how much you love me

when i see you cry

it makes me die inside

Every time i hear you laugh

i know it's one more i will never have

and every time i see you sleeping

I see the face of innocence
