I fake a smile everyday

because i can't look at you the same way anymore

i used to smile, i used to laugh

when i saw you and now i only look at you

with pain and regret

sadness fills my heart

at the mention of your name

the it turns to rage and hate

i thought i loved you

i thought you cared

but then you ripped my heart from my chest

and crushed it in your hands

how do you feel when you look back at me

if you look back at me

and see the mess i have become

and know it's your fault?
