I had a few truly good teachers like this when I was in school, and they can make all the difference. I like to think I appreciated them (although I probably didn't) but I definitely appreciate them now. It's nice to see that Aaron, whoever he is, is recognizing it now and inspiring such lovely writes. Thank you for sharing this moment with us.
I do think you meant duct tape instead of duck tape, however. Took me the majority of my life to figure out which people were saying and I don't think I've ever once actually seen it used on a duct, but ehh. I cheated for the longest time and just said it like 'duc' tape and leaned into an accent so you couldn't tell I didn't commit to a last letter.

And yes, reflection does sometimes make the heart grow founder for what our teachers gave us, and sometimes it is so special you see it in the moment, thank you again
This has both a witty and meaningful moral.. and one to remember as time goes along. Wonder how that student turned out. A bright as a button young man or someone who charmed ladies with his instincts! Teachers learn so much about human nature. Probably seeing the coming character and personality simmering within! Fine writing and an interesting and quite unusual theme, Amanda.
