a parting feeling

Unexpected Loneliness

I’m fine, even happy when I am alone,

And then I spend time with you,

And when we part,

I hate to be,

Alone.

Makes sense when you realise what, why and who. Few words that mean what they say - no more, no less - unless they know otherwise. Fine words by a knowing heart.

Very concise and revealing in its brevity, I enjoyed.

Sounds very much like you have found someone special. They are leaving some empty when they leave. Nice bit of brevity here, that says much Amanda.

I feel this. I was single for along time and loved it didn't feel lonely or depressed. Now that I have someone I don't know how I would survive without them in my life. Short but sweet.
