Tyrant MindA Poem by Amanda Moubarak
oh my tyrant mind
why are you so cruel keeping my soul locked inside using fear as a fuel you've built up a block nothing can get out if not pure for an unrefined rock can never be a jewel so what if i'm not perfect? everybody's not i'm still good enough aren't i? or am i not? no matter what answers you give i won't believe them my rebellious heart will never cave in to your system he still sees hope when you try to make him blind he still feels love he's still caring and kind and yes sometimes the fight seems unworthy but i'd chose losing everytime over indifference and apathy no matter how dark the night there will always be a dawn oh my tyrant mind no tyrant had ever reigned for long © 2021 Amanda MoubarakReviews
