Flying AshesA Poem by Amanda Moubarak
our house was warm
but nothing is ever safe from storms our fortress had to fall now the flames are eating it all pictures lost made me lose more than they've cost too much energy too many memories all gone in matter of minutes all lost underneath the wreckage pictures lost the only picture left of you is imprinted in my mind that one day i'm afraid i won't be able to find because the mind is a tricky business each day make you remember less everything burns and crashes i'm afraid that one day your face will fade away and all that'll be left of you is flying ashes oh pictures lost and all that's left is flying ashes flying ashes © 2019 Amanda MoubarakFeatured Review
