A poem about my perspective on darkness... ^^

In The Light Of Darkness...

⟝⨳⟞

⟝⨳⟞

When the sun goes down,

Making way for the lonely moon,

I smile.

I smile because of the way the moon

Casts light over the otherwise inky night.

I love the symbolism of the moon

And how it stands out in the darkness.

But I also love the it,

The darkness,

Though some connect it with terror and horror movies.

I think it is misunderstood by many,

But I know

That without the darkness,

I for one,

Wouldn’t be the person I am today.

And that,

I think,

Would be such a shame.

I am not trying to sound vain,

Someone’s God, no

I know that little

Would think of me as adjacent to perfection,

But I am proud of the person I am today,

Even if just for a fleeting moment.

And maybe,

Maybe the darkness will come my way,

Yet again,

And teach me another lesson of life.

I,

For one,

Can’t wait to feel the darkness consume me,

And,

In the end,

Spot the moon.

Yes .. your right even absolutely right that Darkness's important in our life cos after a darkness we reach the sky where light of blue sky welcome us. Moon's light's white and sun's is yellowish, day's bright but night's darkishhh... so, we always live in the bright white light of the day light and make mistakes and fall down on the ground where dark lights cover us gradually and hide us into a darkness of dark light ... as a day comes only after an end of the day or a dark light as same a new white light always comes from behind to grab our hand to pull us up so that we could stand up once again and never fall down again... life always teaches us lesson everyday ... in our life. It falls is down but it does pull us back to stand up on the same ground. It tells us making mistakes and we do... but it's teach us to not to do again what we do. That's all i just got from here. What a beautiful an inspirational piece dear you made. In short, after a dark nights, white lights always come in everyone's life to make the life beautiful living. I loved this and right now am gonna save it in my folder and gonna fav. it plus keep it in my Library ;) Brilliant job once again.
