Scary Butterflies....

Scary Butterflies....

A Poem by Amanda J. S.
"

...........

"

Don't always trust butterflies.

Though their beautiful looks

I think they can be just as gruesome as any spider.

They can allure you into following them,

And then,

When you've gotten too close,

Turn into their real selves.

Just remember:

A beautiful facade can delude anyone.

Whatever your intentions with this poem, it says to me that those with the most beautiful of hobbies, interests, and pass-times have the most twisted of minds.

A interesting use of the butterfly. I believe butterflies are creature of freedom. Soon they maybe gone. Thanks to pollution and big cities. Beauty can hide lies and story.
"A beautiful facade can delude anyone."
Better to look beyond the beauty of things and see what is hidden. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
