In My Own Personal Cage....

How I felt, not so long ago....

The months pass by

While I perch here

Looking out upon the world

Moving on without me in it.

In my own personal cage

I wonder if anyone misses me

Out there,

Outside outside my closed windows.

The people pass by

Angry,

Happy,

Depressed.

I just continue to sit here,

Not able to find my way out of this prison 

In here

There is no night

No day.

No summer

No winter.

No pain

No pleasure.

Just…

Nothing.
