It seems like it has no flow at all. I feel almost like the narrator is yelling at me.it's like I'm sitting on a hill then boom "I'M SAD. IT WOULD BE WORSE IF PEOPLE DIDNT HAVE SOULS. I'M GLAD WE HAVE SOULS." There needs to be some kind of natural rational sequence.
Deep Mandy (can I call you Mandy?) My wife died in 2006. I went to her grave EVERY SINGLE DAY for a year, then wrote a book called, 'The First 100 Days - How To Survive The Death Of A Loved One'. I'm with you girl! Damn, I wish you were 18, because you are WAYYYY smarter than your years! Keep up the good work.. and you can see my book here...don't buy it...I'll email it to you! http://www.amazon.com/The-First-100-Days-ebook/dp/B008Y6L3JE/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1346893313&sr=8-4&keywords=jimmy+combs

Wow.. Thank you! :-)
Haha. Yeah, you can call me Mandy!
Hmmmm my perspective on life...Its a dog-eat-dog world out here. Better get them before they get you...eat your greens....XD yup! Wonderful poem I've always question the same thing. Lovely! ^-^
I've heard various takes on this topic:
- "Life's a b***h, and then you die."
- "Any life worth living is worth living well."
- "There's more to life (and death) than one can possibly imagine."
- "If I had [insert local currency unit] for every time this came up, I'd be filthy rich."
I like the poem and the perspective is as good a place to start as any, knowing full well that anyone that claims to have "the answer" is both an idiot and a liar. I'm more interested in how each individual mind goes about the process of creating a working belief structure. It seems a fluid, ever-changing construct, rather like a soap bubble - pretty, shining, floats for a while and then it pops. You have to keep blowing if you like bubbles. That's my take on it. :)
