Fire

Fire

A Poem by Amanda Buscemi

grounded sorrow

leaving dry

seizing under stifled cry

“oh, you fell, in fire…”

            he spoke

“In fire you’ll lie...up in smoke!”

If sorrow leads us to fiery motivation, so be it, it's a good catalyst as any! Well done, I like the symbolism.
