Surprisingly happy (:

I'm smiling more now,

Not crying constantly anymore,

Truly feeling better, surprisingly,

And my heart isn't as sore.

 

Now, I actually feel happy,

Life is looking up again,

Loved ones by my side,

Now my new life may begin.

 

I'm still young, I know,

I have plenty of life in me,

People keep on saying that,

And I'm beginning to agree.

 

I can be happy and in love,

And I know I will be again,

Then I can have a love story,

Without a depressing end.

It sounds like someone is seeing the light after a relationship that was blocking the shine for to long. I'm glad to see that you are realizing that you are loved by many. Heartbreak is a blindinng object that can take hold of your life and turn it into something full of darkness, thankfully you didn't let it keep hold of who you are. Yay, Amanda! Good for you. It's always good to take a bad situation and turn it into a lesson learned and write poems about it. Sometimes it takes a couple of depressing poems to write and look back at, and finally realize that you hate being sad and want to be that same happy person you used to be. That's when you decide to take a deep breath, write a new final poem, and move on with your life without the people that made your life pure Hell. That's usually the cycle of it, well with me anyways. I am glad to know that you're doing good and you are smiling away. Like I have told many people before, that everything happens for a reason. Whether it's for good or bad. God has everything planned out for you.

Yeah I know right? I do that all of the time. Sometimes I can be in a good mood and write sad poems. Eh, poets do that ;) Being sad is a terrible feeling, there's no doubt about that either. You're welcome :)
