Old

He makes me feel amazing,
Almost makes me float.
He treats me like royalty,
Good enough to gloat.

He calls me his Angel,
A gift sent from above.
He is the only one I want,
The only one I'll ever love.

He's there for me no matter what,
I'll always be here for him too.
He is one I can always count on,
No matter what mood or how blue.

He calls me pretty when I'm not,
Or at least when I don't feel.
He gets mad at me if I say I'm ugly,
My words I am forced to repeal.

He has my thoughts every second,
Every single minute of the day.
He continues to do things super sweet,
Forever taking my breath away.

He loves me how I am,
Wants me only for me.
He's all I could ever ask for,
With him I'll forever be.

He means so much to me,
You don't even have a clue.
He makes my world go 'round,
My heart and soul, I love you!

7 stanzas 7 stanzas!! This is so cuuute! I feel I was party to you opening up a love letter from a special person, and you are just enjoying a bit of the rocking to and fro whilst in a hum!! It would take a moment of my forever to entertain the thought of trying to imagine WHAT you have left out that could melt a man's heart..... WHATEVER age you were!! So positive and bright a tribute you have written here, and I wish I could throw you in the air as a gymnast would..... though, I'm sure you would appreciate me to ask you for this permission to do so first!! lol I wish there was that part of the relationship where he might feel he DOESN'T always have to have the answer.... to allow you to have his shoulder as you grow and learn, which would help with confidence and goal-setting. Lost in love is a very personal state to be in, and at first it may look like a selfish need to want that belonging, but when the other is on board and finds a selfless way to connect to your strengths....... you end up with THIS!! Awww, thank you so much Mark (: I always love your reviews. This was actually the first poem I ever wrote, I was completely clueless about everything :P I was just sitting in history class, bored out of my mind.. My friend who is now my boyfriend had been urging me to write something for awhile, and this came out of it (: haha, I'm really extremely glad you enjoyed it though. It always flatters me to be like, I don't know, just appreciated as a writer, and not just someone being like "wow, you're kinda good for a 13 year old", haha, so thank you for that too (: you always leave the sweetest reviews. And as for the lost in love part, yeah, it is really personal and emotional, but I tend to express my feelings, emotions, and such about it through poetry. Thanks again, Mark (:
