Reservoir

Reservoir

A Poem by amanda_joy

I scratch out these marks in space
                     attempt to anchor
                                   itinerant meanings

            and you,
your findings pool

stain & swell to fill the shapes
                   with your colour
                            surrounded by stillness

            and you,
your findings pool

outside the door I hear
           sounds, in time
                   transient & temporal

and you,
your findings pool

so I accept your parchment
               and your silence

I’ll bind the pages
so secretly, the seams wont show.
