Mothers Day

So I don't consider this a poem as it is more of a rambly mess just read it and think.

Step one

Think

Of your mom

What she has done for you

If she has been there for you

And be glade

Be glade she’s there

You never know when she’s going to be gone

I just ended my first year of college

With my mom telling me she has several medical conditions

Hypertension risk for having a heart attack or stroke

She’s a pre-diabetic

She has a thyroid condition

Her knees, and shoulders are in pain because she used to work in a manual labor job

I couldn’t help but think at first that nothing’s going to happen

She can’t die

She’s my best friend

Then I cried

Because I want her to see me graduate

I want her to see my wedding

I want her to see her grandchildren

No one can tell me if that’s going to happen

But I’m going to try living life day by day with her

We are going to fight this problem

Because we are a family

My mom is strong

I have nothing to worry about

And I’ll be glad to be spending

A few more mothers days with her

Thank your mother with me

Or whoever your support system is

And love them

Because you never know what will happen

When their gone
