I Don't Know What to Say

This is about a boy I have met I don't know what to do anymore about. It didn't really help me come to conclusions on the subject but it did help me get my feelings out.

I don’t know what to say

I’m sorry

If I hurt, you

I like you

But I don’t know what to say

Hey just ask me out already

No that’s dumb I don’t even know if I’m ready

I’m scared of the hurt

I’m scared of the possibility

That you might just not like me in that way

That I’ll throw it all away for you

But then I see it

Through the puppy-dogness

And I don’t know

Sometimes you feel like home

And I’m scared

Because although I seem strong

I can break with in a second

And I don’t want to hurt you

Because I’m not ready for everything

And I don’t know if I can handle two things at once

I wanted to go through school without anyone

But now I don’t know anymore

This would be so much easier if you just asked me out

I probably would say yes

Even though I don’t think I’m ready

I want you to be happy

And because I don’t know what else to say
