About Author

Abdul Malik “Momand” S/o Fazal Raheem born in Mazar-e-Sharif Balkh Province year 21^st March 1985. He completed his primary, secondary and university education (BBA Honors) from Mirpur Azad Kashmir, Pakistan up to 2003. Upon arrival of new government in Kabul, he return to his homeland and joined his first employment with United Nation Development Program as Program Assistant for Literacy and Non-Formal Education Project of United Nation Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization UNESCO. In year 2005 he served Hyundai National Motors as Sr. Sales Executive. During 2007 he has been recruited by a project funded by the World Bank National Solidary Program (NSP) as Sr. Contracts Manager.

 

In May 2009 he start establishing a Food Processing and Packaging Factory (Dewa Foods) in Kabul, the idea was to refine, process and packaging of homegrown dry fruits with high standards, but unfortunately due to high level of investment and international product competition the business did not succeeded as expected and it has been decided to end the business before losing further investments. [A brief story is demonstrated in upcoming chapters of this book as an example for readers].

 

2012 after closure of failed company, he joined MMS as Business Development Consultant for supporting EPOS Health Management Project in northern Afghanistan.

 

The author have 11 years of extensive experience in various business sectors, during the period he have served the local Government and International Organization shouldering various responsibilities and high level positions which has given him the wide range of expertize and understanding the Business Development Environment in Afghanistan.
