Phoenix HeartA Poem by Aria
To trust is hard.
Yet I did with you. I give you my heart. All I ask is that you don't break me apart. Each time I try with someone new, it becomes a repeat of what i'm use to. Shrinking, hardening my heart, Becoming a fortress of my own demise. I grow colder. Why try? In the end you're always just the fool. Someday it'll be true. Real deal kinda love, the one made for you. I hope the ashes burn, Ignite the crestfallen hopes. Growing stronger than before for he we tend to this phoenix heart.
