Red Sky

Red Sky

A Poem by Amaranta
"

A dark poem about death.

"

Red sky

Dawn at night

Shoes on my cheek

Pressing on my jaw

Walking as I sleep

Laying down the law

Light shines on me, daughter

So can you see

My rifle on the window

Loaded up and shined and licked

I bow to my weapon

Bow to my god

Country under my pillow

Pills hit my bullet

Mentality kisses my wife

Ten o' clock marks my passing

The end of my life.
