In the applause a cause

In the applause a cause

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I’m not the man
I thought I would be…

I pause

but a man all the same
that’s certainly not me.

Did I find the i’s dotted
and the t’s crossed…

I pause

to ignore

the applause
for a cause.
