There is a God! Goodness gracious me!

I bumped into God the other day
We had a lovely chat
about all things living
as we strolled around
the Garden of Eden
as he called it.
However, I did mention
to his Lordship
that today we call it
the Botanical Gardens.
To cut a long story short
he gave me some heavenly advice
or was it worldly advice.
Anyway, he said and I quote
“ I can’t add years to your life
but I can give you life to your years”
What a lovely chap!
I asked him where he was going next.
He replied. “ I’m off to a fancy dress party.”
I thought, what as you are in that Godly attire.
You’re not properly dressed.
