The echo of yesterday

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The goodbye
had no forwarding address
maybe I misread
the hello

Most people are happy to tell good bye than hello. Nicely written

I have gotten those before...unfortunately once from a dear friend...

by the time I found her again, she had passed away from ALS.....

but I keep saying hello to her hoping she may eventually answer.

"It seems like once again you've had to greet me with goodbye"
It reminded me of a beautiful lyric from one of the new songs. After all, isn't every farewell a new beginning? every goodbye has a new hello.

Andrew, thank you for being one of those beings that are truly human
