Just passing by

Just passing by

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I seek not your chill
or your lips that taste salty
but I allow your waves to caress
stopping at drowning my only request
for I have a home, a hermit’s journey.
I see the moon shivers upon
the undulations of reflection,
and so I bid you farewell
from the sands of time.
