Mosquito squadron leader,
do you read me over?
Yes HQ loud and clear.
Flying over site of interest now Sir.
What is your subject, over?
We did a low pass, over.
She is blonde in a bikini two piece ,over.
Any place to land safely squadron leader?
Yes Sir, her flat belly is perfect
just below her twin peaks, over.
Carry on squadron leader, over and out.
Ok, checking landing gear. Check!
Running low on fuel, must land.
Let’s go everyone, good luck!
The eagle has landed, about to
commence refuelling now.
Ouch! You little s**t!
Splat! Splat! Blood spilt.
Mosquito carcass flicked
to oblivion.
Ant ambulance arrives
with Ant emergency crew
removing all evidence.
Meanwhile, abort mission, abort.
Turn off your high frequency.
Subject in rage. Repeat subject in rage.
Where are you, you little s***s?
Everyone return to base, over and out.

Three comments.
We have what we call noseeums over here in the Scottish Highlands and they are almost as bad as tourists.
Point two. Its only the females that bite you. Males are all card carrying arran sweatered beard wearing hippies.
Point three. They are viscous. I have often walked through a flock swarm, whatever and momentarily left my shape in them. Usually screaming in horror.
Part four the apparently don't like Marmite and Avon Skin so Soft.

Hi Ken, I wondered if someone would pick up on the male mosquitoes lol. It would not have worked otherwise. These were mutant male mosquitoes lol with a thirst for blood. Yes I loathe them blighters. Thanks for commenting Ken, I shall view yours soon.

Humans are waging wars, squatting others as mosquitos after they call them names and degrade them less than animals, kill them in the thousands, deprive them of basic necessities, collective punishment that goes against all known laws, but yet we cheer them on in the name of this and that.
What happened to' Love your enemy '
I think lots of those saying are unreasonable and unrealistic. Might we need miracles and or abort this mission of the human race?
I see this as a great satirical poem on our conditions.
Long live the Emperor.
Take natural remedies for healing please.
We can't afford to lose great talent.

It’s a different world now Sami, people as a whole are not integrating hence differences are becoming an avenue for hatred and extremism. And everybody wants to be the same and or equal because everyone knows how the other people are living. Technology has brought us closer but with more conflict though. Love thy neighbour is becoming something from the past. Thanks Sami.

Bdeen away for a couple or so days, came back with a cold/sore throat!! Good reason for staying in the countryside and doing what I do best.. stay free of colds.. most of the time!

Been sick too for awhile em with a persistent cough, headaches etc for over weeks. Too many problems this year with my mum not well with pneumonia etc. hence very little input this year with writings, I feel I have come to the end of the road , I have very little stimulation, lack desire and I’m not a true poet as everyone would say, even I know that. But it’s been a wonderful journey meeting many delightful poets and so talented at that. Anyway what will be will be. Kind regards Andrew. Keep up that excellent work.

Truly sorry you've been ill for rather too long. Hope you have seen a good doctor for help. That said, when worried as you will have been over your mum it's not only writing that goes by the board, is energy mentally and physically. Do you like honey, the good pure honey? Is so full of natural energy and might help you - a tsp morning and late afternoon. Certainly won't hurt you..

Don't stop writing, jot down this and that that catches your gaze.. and keep for a poem every so often.. Gaze number One:
This morning,
the sun hit the wall behind my pillow,
no harm done,
its stream of light was fun...
to watch a while a while and
inspire my wholeness
to smile
(yes, I know how to boogie but- off the cuff
words are hopeless!) You can do far, far better, sir.. you know you can, Twelve words would be easy for you.. poet man.
