dear Andrew... the White Cliffs of Dover comes to mind. The days go swiftly by... as we wonder about Tomorrow. Perhaps Poetry will help to untangle the Confusion. Deeply, Pat
Andrew...
What is t with this whole thing about death? I'm old enough that even the old actors and politicians are way younger than I am. I think about it enough because it will be here scratching my door-frame before i know it... I spend time daily attempting to come to terms with this greatest of events. The quantum concept of "non-linear time." has been of some comfort... The past and the future are co-existent with now... or, as others say, There is no past, there is no future, there is only this eternal now... in any case, it means my life is and will always be just as it is, every infinitely thin moment of time all at once...

Hi Vol, I think the fascination with death is man has painted images of there being an afterlife sin.. read moreHi Vol, I think the fascination with death is man has painted images of there being an afterlife since the God concept came to mind and we cannot grasp the big picture. This be good and you will be rewarded mentality doesn’t sit with me. You die, your molecules die and your atoms go into the universe pool once more. I read the chances of you and me being here is one in 400 trillion chance so we are very lucky to be here. Thanks Vol as always.
In a Twinkling of an Eye... we are on borrowed Time.
The Sky turns Grey and the silver linings fade.
The light from far off Galaxies have measured our days.
Your Poetry is a Cradle of Hope and Liberty in my Minds Eye... just Shy of
