An exercise

An exercise

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Okay you lot, gather around.
This is an exercise.
I want to see some emotion
running through your makeup.
I want blood!

On the count of three
I want you all to be ready.
What’s the matter noun?
Adjective has broken up with me.
Look with legs like yours
I’m sure you’ll find another.

Come on verb, get a move on.
This is an exercise.
Sure Boss!
Okay comma I suppose
you’re pausing I take it.
I’m taking a break.
Just don’t make it too long.

Hey conjunctions at the back,
keep your hands to yourself and
stop pairing or joining words
without my authority.
Yes! I’m talking to you “and”

Now prefixes, I don’t want you lot
to change something logical to illogical.
It’s a simple exercise. Got it!
And that goes for you too adverbs.
Yes Sir!

Oh no! What do we have here.
I take it you are finished full stop
Great! Exercise is over.
