Why the long face?

Why the long face?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

We have two legs
to ride on four
saddled by burdens
horseshoes travel on
making hay while
the sun shines
the stable empty.

You are too kind J. Thank you.
We are indeed saddled by burdens, weighed down by calamities and inflicted by the dire conditions.
Owning horses and cattle plus land was for the rich; I think you are one of them.
Long live the Emperor of Australia!
