A teenage lament

A teenage lament

A Poem by andrew mitchell

That awkward moment
when you realise
that only you
can find your
own self esteem
for its not given:
I’m still looking
for mine,
but not that I care
now.

You say a lot in so few words in this very thought provoking poem, Andrew. I enjoyed reading your thoughts and thank you for sharing this very nicely penned write...

Thank you very much Marie for a lovely review. Will visit soon.
When you have a powerful self-esteem, you emit natural confidence and your engines run on steam.
When you don't care, it says you moved on, found better ways.
Wowzy woooo!
