A galaxy of thoughts within

If I had the time
the length of the Milky Way
would take one hundred thousand years
to reach the other side
in light years that is.
Which brings the question.
Does a thought travel
at the speed of light,
and what of the thought
that is spoken?
Will that thought
travel at the speed of sound?
The space within our minds
has its stars -
shining bright of moments passed,
and the blackholes
that make us forget.
