In the stripping, the real you

In the stripping, the real you

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Modesty was your coat
you wore that dropped
on entering the bedroom
where the bed became
your stage and rules
were made to be
followed then broken.
Act one, undoing your hair tie
only to let it flow
in the toss of a flicker.
Act two, busy.
Act three, still keeping busy.
Act four, finished.
Back to modesty.

Aww, never underestimate the prowess of a woman. In the bedroom or the kitchen! That's some word finesse you've got going there, Andrew!

Belated thank you Kelly and you are so right.
Her stage, her rules, her show. Let it run it her way. If you are the audience of one it's doubtless you won't be a very harsh critic. But I like the demure. Great read, F.

Belated thank you Fabian and for your words of wisdom.
Act one, the promise of things to come followed ( not too swiftly) by the tease and tempting.
Act two, very imaginative to last into act three before the the final encore .
I actually enjoyed act four best watching the smile and redress of modesty .....

Lol, my imagination got a bit carried away there 😊
I am old and I know now. The treat of a woman stripping. A honored and remembered gift. I did enjoy the tale in the poetry Andrew. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

You are too kind Andra. If I can do this you can too.
I would like a more graphic rerun of acts two and three. Pictures would be nice.

Scrabble, cards, chess and draughts. Thanks John for the smile.
I can honestly say that you are good at story-telling and philosophizing: add in humour and you got a good recipe. I hope we are talking here about Marilyn Monroe???
