Just stringing along

A Poem by andrew mitchell

When I pulled your string
It was shorter than expected
But only time knew.

I call this poem, Slapped in the Pool. (I'd seen the strings on talking dolls and I really only wanted to share some conversation./ But the string I pulled was to her bikini top and that ended all chance of further relations.) (laughing) We must be careful pulling strings though, all sorts of things can come unraveled. I enjoyed the read.

I feel expectations have a mission to fail our beliefs. True, ultimately time reveals the story. Another subtle and multidimensional write, AM
