See what you did!

See what you did!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

See the leaf
that didn’t fall
it was caught
and placed
in a cage.

See the corn
that didn’t pop
or make the grade
to flake.

See the world
in all its glory
before she
deserts you
in her wake.

See the end
to the end
before the end
takes you
unwillingly
for the end
will never surrender
so take the time
to see what you’ve done
but for now settle for
see what you did.

We are our own worst enemies sometimes. We can’t see the things we have created or the beauty we have shared because we feel we are unworthy. Enjoy and find the beauty before our end come is what this poem says to me

I'm reading the long poem from AM and it has the same level of sharpness. Four 'see's have distinct inner story and wisdom. Now, I will say --- ' See what you did' ❤

Wow! I love it; so deep and food for thought. The way I interpret this is that we don't wait or have no patience to see things in full fruition. We want quick results, but if we wait, bring patient, we can see the full picture. To have a full outcome, you have to be patient and have full confidence, effort and purpose.
