the crux of the issue seems to be the error in viewing different as "other" and equating that as lesser, inferior, unworthy. Interesting because in art different is an asset, a quality to be appreciated and strived for, a quality of uniqueness that sets you apart from the norm and not something to look down on. "I ain’t lookin’ for you to feel like me See like me or be like me..." - Bob Dylan

Thank you Carl for your words. It’s certainly one to ponder on.
We are the same, we are all human beings.... we all have a heart that beats...we came out of our mother's womb.... yet we don't think alike... and that is what starts conversations...and we disagree... and we can't change our beliefs... we struggle and we fight... and we win or lose wars... if different peoples could get along, live side by side, then we would not have wars, but faith doesn't match all the time, so people war against each other, for many reasons, one being land ownership. Nice write... so few words, so many meanings...
Warmly, B

Thank you Betty and for your words. Yes we are not united at all.
Being different starts many an argument and even wars. When people or groups are different and others don’t understand but fear them it can create great chaos and massive divides which can lead to violence and brutality.
This is all said within a few short words and conveys the thought rather clearly.
We aren't any different, really. We are all of the same human nature with different DNA and fingerprints. But when people try to lump each other into categories by their differences the troubles begin. And it can be seemingly benign (women drivers) (mansplaining) sexism or more sinister racial epithets or ethnic slurs. Mostly, individuals make friends while governments make wars.
