At the Locust bar

At the Locust bar

A Poem by andrew mitchell

After a long hot day
in the field
in sweltering heat
up above blue hues
no clouds to be seen
a grasshopper walks
into a bar an orders a drink
where the bartender remarks.
“ Did you know there’s a drink named after you!”
To which the grasshopper replied.
“ What! Kevin!”

Now that is something I would have expected Kevin Rudd to have responded with! All ego and a grasshopper to boot! Another very witty offering, Andrew. You have a sharp style of writing. Very much enjoyed the wit.
