A weathered moment

A weathered moment

A Poem by andrew mitchell

As quickly
as love came
love vanished
with heart abandoned
the flood gates opened
all the while
the sun peeked
through the clouds
ripples on bedsheets
lie empty
outside the wind
whispers.
