Balanced on the high wire

Balanced on the high wire

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Love and hate
in equal measures
only gives you
half the pleasures
for sitting high
on the fence
waiting to fall
makes no sense
a broken heart
leaves the nest
perched amongst
the pigeons.
