Oh, how I know this feeling all too well. Sometimes one must just bide their time until all the stars are in alignment, pray for inspiration to the All Mighty, or failing that, offer up a human sacrifice.

If you are blocked under the cap, pull them out of a rabbit's hat; be a magician instead of a poet or look around high and low for inspiration. If all fails, consult a crystal ball or a fortune teller. Lol

Writer's block is never fun, and this is pretty spot on to what it feels like. For me, sometimes I just like to open up an empty document and write whatever falls from my brain and into my fingers. Here's hoping the writer's block fades away like a distant dream.
